Top 5 Business Apps Performance in Dominican Republic Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five business apps in the Dominican Republic showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the weekly trends for these applications.

Zoom Workplace saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads from around 17K at the end of September to approximately 3.9K by the end of December. Weekly revenue remained steady at $1-2 throughout the quarter. Active users also showed a significant decrease from about 148K in late September to roughly 44K by the end of December.

Google Meet (original) experienced a similar downward trend in weekly downloads, starting from 15.4K and dropping to about 1.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users decreased from approximately 184K in late September to 102K by the end of December.

WhatsApp Business maintained a relatively stable performance. Weekly downloads hovered around the 20K mark, peaking at 24K in late November. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting from 764K and reaching around 814K by the end of December.

For Microsoft Teams, weekly downloads decreased from 6.5K at the end of September to about 1.8K by the end of December. Active users also saw a decline from approximately 139K to 110K over the same period.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had relatively stable weekly downloads, fluctuating between 3.2K and 4.1K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at about 29K and ending the quarter at roughly 30.5K.
